1. Paperwork, Paperwork, & more Paperwork!

I’m drowning in all the paperwork involved with this new job and volunteering position.  Good thing I’m taking care of everything during my last two weeks at my soon-to-be old office job.  I’ve got unlimited access to printers, manila envelopes, and any office supplies necessary for staying organized, lol.

My goal is to have everything ready to go by January 17, 2012.  There are a few things that I can’t really control, like my official CBEST results and my undergrad official transcripts, but other than that, I’m trying to get all the necessary steps taken care of.

Meanwhile, I’m trying to tie up all the loose ends on my current job projects and hire my replacement.  It’s more tough to find someone than I thought.  I work at a very superficial ad agency in West Hollywood.  Whatever “misconceptions” you may have about a place like this are probably true.  I feel a bit evil not warning my replacement in advance, but I feel like some things are better experienced than told about.

And as I write this, I stole a look at my iPad and realize that I have my first quiz of my 3rd Post-Baccalaureate course to study for this Saturday.  Sigh, gotta keep moving!  What’s that quote? “If youre not moving forward, you’re falling behind.”  True words.
